Cyprus calls for EU meeting on Russian food embargo

The Cypriot government has officially requested a special meeting of EU farm and fisheries ministers to assess the negative effects of Russia's food embargo on EU member-states, Cyprus Mail reports. Russia announced the import ban last week after the EU sanctioned Russia over its involvement in the Ukraine crisis.
