Pegida leader steps down after 'Hitler photo'

The leader and co-founder of Germany's anti-Islamisation group Pegida, Lutz Bachmann, stepped down on Wednesday after he published a photo of himself posing as Adolf Hitler on his social media page. The photo does "nothing to nurture trust in Pegida’s goals or its protagonists", a Pegida spokesperson said.
