France confiscates six passports under anti-terrorism law

French interior minister Bernard Cazeneuve announced Monday that six French citizens have had their passports confiscated and 40 more will be banned from leaving the country in a crackdown on would-be jihadists planning to travel to Syria and Iraq. The ban lasts six months and can be appealed.
