European Parliament backs 120,000 refugees relocation plan

MEPs approved plans to relocate 120,000 refugees from Italy, Greece and Hungary. In an emergency vote Thursday, they voted with 370 votes against 134, with 52 abstentions in favour of the EU Commission's proposal and approved a legislative resolution with 372 votes against 124 and 54 abstentions.

EU Modernisation Fund: an open door for fossil gas in Romania

Among the largest sources of financing for energy transition of central and eastern European countries, the €60bn Modernisation Fund remains far from the public eye. And perhaps that's one reason it is often used for financing fossil gas projects.
