Left-wing Spanish MPs give up financial perks

Anti-establishment party Podemos has said its MPs will renege normal benefits in an act of solidarity with the austerity-burdened Spanish public, Spanish daily El Pais reports. Perks include a €3,000 taxi allowance, retirement benefits and free wi-fi. MPs are also to place a cap on their salaries and per diems.
