Cameron asked EU to protect offshore trusts

British PM David Cameron personally requested that offshore trusts be excluded from an EU-led crackdown on tax avoidance, the Financial Times reports. The 2013 letter addressed to Herman Van Rompuy is still available on the government website. Cameron's father was named in the Panama Papers.
