Scottish fishermen happy with Brexit
By EUobserver
The Scottish Fishermen’s Federation says the UK's exit from the European Union will boost jobs in the sector, reports The Guardian. It's chief executive Bertie Armstrong said the exit will give them “the ability to recover proper, sustainable, rational stewardship through our own exclusive economic zone for fisheries”. The majority of Scots had voted to remain within the EU. The EU each years sets environmental quotas for the fishing sector.
