The Greek government on Friday morning attributed TV licences to four companies after bidding negotiations that lasted three days. Skai TV, Antenna TV and two new companies will have the right to broadcast, while several of the main channels, like Mega TV, Star and Alpha TV will disappear. The auction will bring €246 million in state coffers.
