Market performance improves in EU
EU justice commissioner Vera Jourova says consumers in the EU are feeling more confident when compared to 2014. The findings follow a so-called Consumer Markets Scoreboard released on Monday, which monitors consumers' ratings of 42 goods and services. Books, magazines and newspapers, toys and games, and large household appliances such as fridges are trending well, it says. Telecoms and energy, in comparison, are underperforming.
