Commission sets up Brexit 'taskforce'

The European Commission on Wednesday announced it had set up a "Task Force for the preparation and conduct of the negotiations with the United Kingdom under Article 50" of the EU treaty. It is led by former commissioner Michel Barnier. The move comes amidst uncertainty over when the UK will trigger Article 50. The Council, representing member states, already has a Brexit taskforce since July.
