UK unemployment continues to fall after Brexit vote

Unemployment in the UK fell to 4.9% in July, according to estimates published Wednesday by the Office of National Statistics. The employment rate between May and July was 74.5 percent, the highest since comparable records began in 1971. "The UK labour market is yet to show any Brexit effect for the period immediately before and after the June 23 vote," Kallum Pickering, an economist, told the BBC.
