Dijsselbloem: US fine on Deutsche Bank 'too high'

Dutch finance minister and Eurogroup president Jeroen Dijsselbloem told Dutch journalists on Friday that the €12.5 billion settlement fine proposed by US authorities against Deutsche Bank was "too high". Dijsselbloem added that Deutsche Bank must survive without state aid, as agreed in rules for the Banking Union. "Whatever the case, we have legally laid down that the bank has to solve its own problems", he said.
