France to urge UK to accept Calais children
By EUOBSERVER
French interior minister Bernard Cazeneuve is set to tell his British counterpart Amber Rudd to speed up asylum applications from unaccompanied children in Calais who have family links in the UK, reports The Guardian newspaper. "The main objective is to ensure that these minors have a better life in the UK where they have family or friends living in the country," a French official told the paper.
