Luxembourg PM proposes EU border lock-down

Luxembourg prime minister Xavier Bettel has said EU states should lock down Schengen borders for 24 hours to show people the benefits of EU membership. "Shutting the frontiers for a day would show people what it means to wait two hours to get into Italy or Spain", he said Monday, Bloomberg reports. "It’s terrible what I’m saying, but it would be good for people to understand", he said.
