Northern Ireland court rejects Brexit case
By EUobserver
Northern Ireland’s high court rejected, on Friday, a legal challenge against prime minister Theresa May’s powers to trigger Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty and push ahead with Brexit without the consent of the region's parliament. One plaintiff, human rights activist Raymond McCord, said he will appeal the ruling in the Britain's highest judicial body, the Supreme Court.
