EU trade chief says UK deal will take 'couple of years'

EU trade commissioner Cecilia Malmstroem said Thursday the UK will be at the end of the queue to negotiate a post-Brexit trade deal. "We are negotiating 15-16 trade deals at the moment so we are busy," she said at the World Economic Forum in Davos. "It's hard to say. It takes a couple of years depending on what they want," Malmstroem noted.
