Mobile roaming charges to end in June

Mobile roaming charges for EU consumers will end on 15 June, making it possible to call and transfer data between EU member states for the same cost as at home. Final details on lower wholesale price caps were agreed in talks on Tuesday evening between European Parliament and Council negotiators. The Parliament as a whole and national ministers formally need to approve the compromise before it enters into force.
