Ireland misses EU deadline for Apple taxes

Ireland has missed an EU deadline for recovering €13 billion in back taxes from Apple. The deadline passed on Tuesday, but EU competition commissioner Margrethe Vestager said the large amount made it "very complex" and the deadline was "not the most important thing". Apple is appealing against the Commission's ruling demanding that it pays the money.
