Euro exit would cost France €30bn a year

Leaving the euro would cost France an additional €30 billion each year, the head of the country's central bank said on Monday. Francois Villeroy de Galhau said the extra cost would come from higher interest on France's €2.2 trillion debt. A euro exit is one of far-right candidate Marine Le Pen's main proposals ahead of April's presidential election.
