Le Pen stripped of EU parliament immunity

MEPs on Thursday stripped French far-right leader Marine Le Pen of her parliamentary immunity. She is under investigation in France for pictures of men being tortured and killed by the Islamic State (IS) group, which she tweeted in 2015, including of US journalist James Foley. She posted the pictures to protest against the comparison between IS and her National Front party by a journalist.
