Land mine kills OSCE observer in Ukraine

One American paramedic working with the European security watchdog, OSCE, was killed and two field officers - one German and the other Czech - were wounded when their vehicle struck a land mine on Sunday while on patrol in eastern Ukrainian. The area is controlled by Russia-backed separatists. It is the first death of an OSCE official on patrol in Ukraine, where more than 700 international observers work.
