EU's chief negotiator says no to post-Brexit 'red tape'
By EUobserver
"No one should be confronted with a mountain of red tape", the EU's Brexit chief negotiator, Michel Barnier, promised at the annual State of the Union conference in Florence on Friday. He said it would be "a priority" in Brexit talks to preserve the rights of the approximately 3.2 million EU citizens and their families in the UK, and the 1.2 million British citizens working and living in the EU.
