By EUobserver
The percentage of female lawmakers represented in Germany's next Bundestag will drop to 31 percent, down from 37.1 percent, following the federal elections that took place on 24 September. The shift marks a 19-year low. It means that 491 seats will be occupied by men, whereas only 218 will be held by women, reported Deutsche Welle, a German media outlet.
