New toxic incident in EU building ahead of summit

The EU Council building was evacuated Wednesday morning because of "noxious fumes in the kitchens", the institution said, one day before the EU summit on Thursday and Friday. The incident follows a similar one last Friday, which was caused by a mix of detergent products. "This incident will not prevent the meeting of the European Council from going ahead," the council said in a statement.
