EU negotiators reach deal on drones and aviation agency
By EUobserver
EU negotiators reached a provisional deal on a new mandate for the European Aviation Safety Agency in the early hours of Thursday. Negotiations, between MEPs and the Council of the EU – representing member states – were "tough" according to Estonian diplomat Clyde Kull, and reportedly wrapped up at 5:45AM. The new legislation will also govern drones, but details of the deal are not yet public.
