Dutch environment group appeals air quality ruling

Milieudefensie, the Dutch branch of the environmental lobby group Friends of the Earth, announced on Tuesday it has appealed a court ruling on air quality. The Dutch court had said the government was doing enough to improve air quality - even though it was failing to reach EU targets. The announcement comes two days before UK group ClientEarth will appear in court to demand cleaner air in England and Wales.
