May to fight EU citizens rights during Brexit transition

Theresa May has indicated she will fight a proposal to give residency rights to EU citizens who arrive during the transition period after Brexit. "There is a difference between those who came prior to us leaving and those who will come when they know the UK is leaving," she said while in China. The prime minister insisted that Brexit supporters "didn't vote for nothing to change".
