EU to begin testing for 'dual food' quality in May

A testing campaign of a common basket of food products will start in May, in order to assess claims by some eastern EU countries of dual food quality in the EU, the European Commission said Friday. Consumers commissioner Vera Jourova said that a common testing methodology will be ready in April, with the participation of 16 countries.
