UEFA signs deal to promote 'European values' at EURO 2020

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has signed a deal with the EU commission to promote European values at the football championships in 2020, which will be the first to be held all over Europe, involving 12 different cities. UEFA EURO 2020 has the "potential to portray a positive image of Europe", the agreement reads. Portugal are the defending champions, having won the 2016 tournament.
