EU migration to UK at lowest since 2012

Net migration of EU citizens decreased by 75,000 over the past year, returning to 2012 levels, the UK Office for National Statistics said on Thursday. While 244,000 more people came to the UK than left, "fewer EU citizens are arriving, especially those coming to look for work," the ONS notes. It says that "Brexit could well be a factor," but only among "lots of different reasons."
