Mexico pushes for April trade deal with EU

Trade negotiators are pushing to finish work on an updated free-trade agreement between Mexico and the European Union ahead of Mexican president Pena Nieto's trip to Europe in April where he will be visiting the Hannover Messe, reports Bloomberg. The EU is Mexico's second-biggest export market after the US and EU-based firms have accounted for 36 percent of foreign direct investment in Mexico over the past two decades.
