Spain to accept stranded migrant boat

Valencia in Spain will open its port to the boat with more than 600 people on board that neither Italy nor Malta want to accept. "It's our duty to help and avoid a humanitarian disaster", Spanish prime minister Pedro Sanchez said in a statement on Monday. Earlier in the day, the European Commission has said that taking care of the people on board was a "humanitarian imperative".
