EU election turnout predicted at 51 percent - a 20-year high

Estimated turnout for the European elections among the EU-27 member states is at 51 percent - "the highest in the last 20 years" according to a European Parliament spokesman on Sunday night. Turnout figures from the United Kingdom are expected at around 11PM Brussels time. The UK estimates may see the final overall turnout range from 49 percent to 52 percent.

How much can we trust Russian opinion polls on the war?

The lack of Russian opposition to the Russo-Ukrainian War is puzzling. The war is going nowhere, Russian casualties are staggering, the economy is in trouble, and living standards are declining, and yet polls indicate that most Russians support the war.
