Bars and restaurants remain open in Sweden

Unlike most other EU countries, public life in Sweden has not yet stopped, despite the country's 3,700 coronavirus cases, and 110 deaths, Deutsche Welle reports. The government has not imposed social restrictions or confined people to their homes. Shops and restaurants are still open. EU citizens are still allowed to enter the country and large public events are still taking place, albeit with no more than 50 people.

For Ukraine's sake, pass the EU due diligence directive

The EU Commission's 2022 CSDDD proposal did not include provisions incorporating "conflict due diligence", they were added, after the Russian invasion, by the European Parliament and Council into the final directive text — for Ukraine's sake, vote for it.
