Canada and EU unveil anti-Covid trade deal

The EU, Canada, and 11 other nations, called the "Ottawa Group", agreed Monday to lift export restrictions for medical supplies in the pandemic. The group hopes all World Trade Organisation members, including China and the US, will sign up by March 2021, to help with global vaccine distribution. "That would still be a moment when this would be relevant for the management of the pandemic," an EU official told Reuters.
