Formal EU ratification of Brexit deal extended to end of April
By EUobserver
The UK government agreed on Tuesday to allow the EU more time to formally ratify the post-Brexit trade deal, which came into effect this year. The provisional application was extended until 30 April. The deal still needs to be ratified by the European Parliament, and it needs to be translated into 24 languages, in a legally-sound way. The provisional application was originally planned to end this month.
