Eva Kaili is no longer EU parliament vice-president
By EUobserver
The European Parliament has officially unseated Greek socialist Eva Kaili as vice-president of the European Parliament in a decision that secured 625 votes in favour, 1 against and 2 abstentions. The vote had followed a proposal by the conference of presidents, which is composed of political group leaders. "Everyone involved must be held accountable," they said, in a statement.
