New Commission to review dismissal of whistleblower

Under pressure from the European Parliament budget control committee the new European Commission will on Tuesday (14 December) review a decision to dismiss former chief accountant Marta Andreasen.

On 13 October, the Prodi Commission decided, at one of its last meetings, to dismiss Mrs Andreasen.
