Brussels takes on a quieter feel next week (19-26 July) with parliament closed for the summer recess and a Belgian bank holiday on Wednesday further reducing activity.

The gods of finance will be firmly focused on the publication of bank stress tests results on Friday however, with the release of the potentially explosive data designed to dispel doubts over the solidity of Europe's banking system.
