Spain will have a referendum on the European Constitution in February, it emerged over the weekend.
The announcement comes after the government of José Luis Rodrígez Zapatero pledged to hold a vote as quickly as possible after the Constitution was agreed last month.
According to ABC, the vote could come towards the end of February.
