Newly-independent Montenegro could move faster in EU integration terms than Serbia, it emerged after enlargement commissioner Olli Rehn met Montenegro prime minister Milo Djukanovic in Brussels on Monday (29 May).
"If negotiations continue as professionally and effectively as so far, then we should be able to conclude the negotiations by the end of the year on the SAA [Stabilisation and Association Agreement]," Mr Rehn said, Balkans agency DTT-NET.COM reports.
