Pessimism over Finnish talks with Turkey and Cyprus

A last-ditch effort by the Finnish EU presidency to forge a compromise between Turkey and Cyprus looks unlikely to produce results at a meeting in Finland today, with Turkey's EU deadline to open its ports to Cypriot shipping fast approaching.
