Finance ministers are set to make "good progress" on agreeing on how best to reform the rules governing the euro at a meeting on Monday (17 January), according to Commission sources.
Monday's meeting will be the third time ministers have met to discuss ways of changing the beleaguered Stability and Growth Pact - which is supposed to prevent euro members running budget deficits over three percent.
