At the invitation of German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder a meeting between Germany, France and the UK will be held on Saturday (20 September) in Berlin to discuss a new UN resolution on Iraq.
"The meeting serves to agree to common positions in foreign policy after there were divergent opinions in the run-up to the Iraq war," the German government said in a statement.
