This WEEK in the European Union

This week holds a busy agenda for all of the EU's institutions.

The highlight will be a prominent conference organised by the European Commission and the Austrian presidency in Salzburg on Friday and Saturday.

The event, dubbed by the Austrian Presidency as "The Sound of Europe," takes place in the home town of the famous composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart who was born 250 years ago.
