Prodi receives letter bomb

The President of the European Commission Romano Prodi received a parcel bomb at his house in Bologna on Saturday (27 December) but he was unhurt.

Romano Prodi, the head of the European Commission opened a letter bomb at his home in the Italian city of Bologna but the flame-explosion did not hurt the former Italian Prime Minister, his spokesman said.
