Tories ask a seat on EU constitutional convention

British Conservatives are asking for a representation on the Europe-wide constitutional convention, which is to decide the future of Europe, justifying their demand with the need to represent different views.

"If this is a genuine convention looking at all options for the future of Europe it will need to look at all views. We would expect our view to be represented," explained the shadow foreign secretary, Michael Ancram to Epolitix.com.
