Speaking hours after his re-election US president George W. Bush has pledged to work with EU partners during his second term in office.
Speaking in Washington on Thursday (4 November), Mr Bush gave the first indications of what might be in store during his next four years in office.
"I'll continue to reach out to our friends and allies, our partners in the EU and Nato, to promote development and progress", he said in a short speech focused heavly on domestic issues.
