Serb leader calls for 'gesture' from the Hague

The man responsible for bringing Serbia closer to the European Union has said gestures from the international war crimes tribunal could prompt key suspects, currently on the run, to appear in the Hague.

Miroljub Labus, deputy Prime Minister and acting Minister for European Integration, said in Brussels on Thursday that the release of former Serbian President Milan Milutinovic could see Radovan Karadzic and others suspected of war crimes coming forward.
