Polish MEP dies in car crash
Polish MEP Filip Adwent has died following a car crash on the Warsaw-Krakow highway nine days ago (18 June), Gazeta Wyborcza reports.
His father and one of his two teenage daughters were also killed in the accident while his mother remains in a serious condition.

The 50-year old MEP was driving a Toyota Avensis when a truck suddenly switched lanes striking his vehicle and two others.
The driver of the truck is being questioned by police.
Filip Adwent was linked to the centre-right League of Polish Families party and the Eurosceptic Ind/Dem group in the European Parliament.
His work covered the transport and agriculture committees and the parliamentary delegation to Ukraine.
He also acted as a channel of humanitarian aid to Poland during the Cold War period.
